At this workshop you will learn how to cut and piece the fabrics together using traditional Korean hand sewing techniques.

You will be working with traditional Korean Ramie fabrics that Sara has hand dyed. All the materials that you need will be in the kit provided at the start of the course. Your kit will contain a design for you to follow as a guide as well as instructional handouts.

During the workshop Sara will demonstrate how to cut and piece your Ramie fabrics together using a Garumsol (whip stitched seam) worked by hand.  She will demonstrate how to create the Bakgimaedup knot symbol to complete your pin cushion as well as how to shape your squares into the flower design.
